This new book explores the real meaning of the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker as it unravelled backwards over 30 years in George Lucas’ Star Wars. It examines the source of Lucas’ inspiration – the work of Joseph Campbell whose groundbreaking study of comparative mythology provided the base on which Lucas built his edifice.
